The conservative Citizen Super Pac, which has a history of supporting GOP candidates and causes, has released a video comparing Republican frontrunner Donald Trump to Adolf Hitler.
The minute long spot sets the rhetoric, style, and gestures of Donald Trump against those of the German dictator.
The similarities in the arguments both men make are clear:
– Both tap into a feeling of national decline.
– Both bragged about their superior negotiation skills.
– Obviously, both targeted minorities for political gain.
– The assertion that the liberal press is lying is another thing both have in common.
– At Trump rallies and Nazi rallies alike, the crowd is held to swear a pledge to their leader.
– Winning is at the top of the agenda. The Nazi salute “Sieg Heil!”, not coincidentally, includes the word “Sieg”, which means victory.
