His exact words were:
“Hillary wants to abolish, essentially abolish the Second Amendment.
If she gets to pick her judges, nothing you can do, folks.
Although the second amendment people, maybe there is.”
The Secret Service has confirmed that they have spoken to the Trump campaign about his statements, according to CNN.
- They said “There has been more than one conversation.”
- Trump denies this and responded on Twitter that no such conversation has happened.

- Another typically Trump kind of nonsense-sentence, which confused many.
- But it is very toxic, if you analyze it word by word.
- If it only means he wanted “to motivate the people to vote for him and not Hillary”- why did he not use the word “vote” and why he limited it to people with weapons at home talking about “the second amendment people” and not all voters?
- He must be aware that some crazy shooters would like to stop her by any means.
- At least it shows again: Trump is a loose cannon, talks crazy, and is certainly unfit to serve as POTUS.
Trump starts yet another controversy. At a rally in Wilmington, North Carolina, he made a statement about Hillary Clinton, which seemed to suggest he was encouraging his supporters to assassinate her.
To prevent Clinton appointing liberal judges, Trump calls on Second Amendment supporters…for an assassination?
- He said she intends to abolish the Second Amendment of the Constitution, which is what the NRA and gun rights supporters say allows them to bear arms.
- If she becomes president, she will pick her own Supreme Court judges, who will likely be liberal and want to impose more gun control laws.
- Trump suggested there wasn’t anything which could be done about it, but that maybe the Second Amendment supporters could maybe do something.
It seems to be the case that Trump was implying they should shoot her to prevent her from appointing liberal judges and abolishing the Second Amendment.
The Clinton campaign has responded by saying that as a presidential candidate, Trump shouldn’t suggest violence.

The National Rifle Association backed up Trump’s opinion that Clinton would elect liberal judges to the Supreme Court.

The Secret Service, who protects the President and both candidates, acknowledged Trump’s dangerous comments.

Trump’s campaign released a statement clarifying the meaning of his words at the rally. The statement clarifies that he meant that the Second Amendment supporters could do something: vote in record numbers, not shoot Clinton if she gets elected. “It’s called the power of unification — 2nd Amendment people have amazing spirit and are tremendously unified, which gives them great political power. And this year, they will be voting in record numbers, and it won’t be for Hillary Clinton, it will be for Donald Trump.”
