The Syrian government will join the UN-brokered peace talks to find a political solution for the conflict.
Foreign Minister Walid Muallem said it would be “ready as soon as we receive a list of the opposition delegation”.
The peace negotiations will start at the end of January in Geneva.
Until now more than 250,000 people have been killed since March 2011,.
11 million lost their homes.
More than four million are in refugee camps in Lebanon, Turkey, and Jordan and many went to Europe this year.
