The French President has made a statement in which he sharply condemned the attack in Mali and offered the government support to free the remaining hostages.

“Once again terrorists want to mark their barbarous presence on every location where they can kill, impress and murder”, Hollande said in front of Journalists in Paris. He added that the tourists and businessmen  now held as hostages in the hotel in bamako were there to help the country: “Mali needs their support to rebuild and develop”.

He assured that French troops will join Mali’s fight against Islamist “terrorist elements”.
